An excellent restaurant!

Here is a picture from a meal wehad last week. Johnny Carino's is a
chain that has just moved into Tulsa. The food is awesome, as well as
the service. The price was not too bad either. We had Lasagna, Bowtie
Medley, 2 drinks, unlimited bread and olive oil, also 2 canoli, one of
wich is seen in the picture, in a box waiting to go home, and a good tip
was $35.00. If you have a Johnny Carino's near you I would recomend
giving it a try.

A Real Breakfast!

These people know how to do breakfast, after all, they have been doing
it since 1955. I had a double waffle and a cup of coffee for a mere
$6.00, tax and tip included. Now it is off to the house to work my butt
off this week, getting trash loaded and hauled off!

I was getting my oil changed today next to one of my Grocery stores and
this thing showed up! They are driving it around the parking lot, very
cool! Looks like something they would make on monster garage! Enjoy!

Ok, first things first. I am on vacation, so that is why I haven't been
keeping up on my bLog. Now for the review:
This is the old Chimi's in Broken Arrow, the 2 eggs were so small it
literally looked like 1 egg, the sausage patties tasted like they came
from a plastic container, the coffee was weak and bitter. But, hey, the
waffle was good!
I like to end with something positive. By the way, I was the only one in
the place for most of the time I was here, then finally 1 other biker
guy came in. See ya, gonna go home and clean house today! Fun, fun.

This is a book I am going to read during my vacation, this guy is
another hero of mine. He is a real good guy and an aquaintance as well.
I will let you know how it is.

This is a lithograph that a local artist has done of one of my heroes,
Ronald Reagan. At the botom, if you can't read it, is one of Reagans
favorite sayings. "Surround yourself with the best people you can find,
delegate authority, and don't interfere." I got this and the next
pictured item for a $50 donation to the Luekemia and Lymphoma Society.

Homemade Dogfood

Here is my first batch of homemade dog food, and hey! it only took me 5
hours to make it. The whole thing started about 6:00 when I burned some
meat on the grill, so I dragged out the grinder attachment for the
Kitchenaid mixer. I then found a box of oatmeal, I cooked that up, mixed
in my ground up spare ribs, then I thought "wait there is no veggies in
here! So off to the Wal-Mart Neighborhood Market. 30 minutes, $20 and 3
emails to the "guru of home cooking for dogs" (at least in my mind), I
was on my way home with carrots, cukes, potatoes, green beans, a yam, an
acorn squash, and a bulb of garlic. Several hours and tons of dirty
dishes later...3 gallons of human quality dog food! And yes, they love
it.

Well, here I am from my little corner of the world in Broken Arrow, OK.
I am a Conservative Christian Republican, but, and it is a big but, I DO NOT drink the Koolaid� I love President Bush, but I disagree with him on some things.
I am a Field Engineer for Coinstar. I love my job and the freedom it gives me.
I am resting in bed right now, because I have a feeling of general malaise, hopefully I will feel better soon, I have work to do.
